Housebreaking 102

In addition to managing your dog’s behavior in the house, you also have to manage what he or she eats and drinks. In other words you have to control what goes in so that you can control what goes out. Or maybe “regulate” is a better word. Regardless the outcome that you want is for your dog to go to the bathroom outside and not inside. You have to follow the guidelines for how much your size dog should eat on a daily basis, and moderate the water by limiting access when the dog is not eating or having a watering time. If you don’t do this and you leave food and water down all the time then you never really know how much the dog ate or drank or even when. So it’s very difficult for you to know when it’s going to have to go to the bathroom.
